It was
1974 in the town of Gregory, Texas where Macario "Mac"
Martinez opened Mac's Barbecue on Hwy 35 South.
It is
inside these four walls, with the help of many volunteer
taste testers, that Mac developed and perfected the Poorboy.
Today there are four Mac's Barbecues.
Each location serves up to 150 Poorboys daily.
